The Greatest Showman (movie)

The Greatest Showman

This movie focus is about what makes a place a home, not the actual house but the people around you! Not only that but to be comfortable about who you are and not worry or judge others. I love this movie and seen it twice already. But truly my fav is the music. Rewrite the Stars and This is Me are my number ones of this musical with most of the numbers right behind them... I hate Never Enough... and the character... it just wasn't needed! But heck it didn't lower my thoughts about this movie.

About:
Inspired by the imagination of P. T. Barnum, The Greatest Showman is an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business & tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

Contagion

Title: Contagion
Author: Erin Bowman
Rating: 5/5

Description:
It got in us

After receiving an urgent SOS from a work detail on a distant planet, a skeleton crew is dispatched to perform a standard search-and-rescue mission.

Most are dead.

But when the crew arrives, they find an abandoned site, littered with rotten food, discarded weapons…and dead bodies.

Don't set foot here again.

As they try to piece together who—or what—could have decimated an entire operation, they discover that some things are best left buried—and some monsters are only too ready to awaken.

My Review:
I read most of this book during a 24 hour read-a-thon. Which is still going as I type this... a need break- but not because of this book... heck no. This book is so good, and thank you for the not so much romance and alot of action. Yes... I think the only down side is the wait for book 2. The main characters were a bunch of goobers and not perfect which made me enjoy them more. The story interesting to keep this girl with ADD to keep reading it for hours on end. So good! Now for Book 2 for this run!

I'm a Unicorn

Title: I'm a Unicorn
Author: Mallory Loehr
Rating: 5/5

Description:
A magical Little Golden Book for little unicorn lovers!

I am moonlight white.
I have a magical horn.
I look a lot like a horse, of course. . .

So begins this charming Little Golden Book that introduces the magical unicorn to the littlest readers! In this sweet story, gorgeously illustrated by Disney artist Joey Chou, a unicorn tells the readers all about herself ("My horn can make water clean, or heal a hurt") and her magical life ("I frolic in the forest, I prance in the fields"). Sure to delight little ones who love the magic of fairy tales and beautiful creatures!

My Review:
I loved this completely... and artwork... who doesn't want to be a unicorn!

TV: Alexa and Katie ep. 1-4

Alexa and Katie
Episode 1-4

Description:
High school is hard for all students, but it's even more difficult for somebody who is dealing with personal challenges that most teens don't. That is the case for freshman Alexa, who is undergoing cancer treatment while trying to adjust to high school. She maintains her outgoing personality and enthusiasm for life despite her health issues, thanks in part to loyal best friend Katie remaining by her side through it all. Whether they're at school, home or the hospital, the girls are always by each other's side through thick and thin. Also part of Alexa's life is determined and protective mother Lori.

My Review: It was nice to watch a show that had a sort-of positive feel with if its subject was cancer. I like the support Alexa has thru the first 4 eppys and I will so be watching the rest of this series that is bought to us by Netflix. Also love the opening song and I so want it! Yup like this show! And I'll update this when I finish the season!
