Stolen

Title: Stolen (0.5)
Author: Erin Bowman
Rating: 3/5

Description:
Before Gray Weathersby uncovered the truth about Claysoot and the Laicos Project, a girl named Bree came of age in the coastal settlement of Saltwater—and made her own surprising journey to the world beyond its borders. In Stolen, discover the story of Bree’s life before she was Snatched from her home, before she joined the rebellion, and before she met a boy named Gray…

My Review:
This is a short story of events before Taken. The story of Bree and how she was taken by her village because she was the strongest female in her tribe! A tribe unlike Gray's a place by the sea... lots of sea. The story was pretty good even if it was short and it was good to read about Bree... and what she went thru. I'll give 3 stars since its just a small part to the story tho :)

My Plain Jane

Name: My Plain Jane
Author: by

Rating:  4/5

Description:

You may think you know the story. After a miserable childhood, penniless orphan Jane Eyre embarks on a new life as a governess at Thornfield Hall. There, she meets one dark, brooding Mr. Rochester. Despite their significant age gap (!) and his uneven temper (!!), they fall in love—and, Reader, she marries him. (!!!)

Or does she?

Prepare for an adventure of Gothic proportions, in which all is not as it seems, a certain gentleman is hiding more than skeletons in his closets, and one orphan Jane Eyre, aspiring author Charlotte BrontΓ«, and supernatural investigator Alexander Blackwood are about to be drawn together on the most epic ghost hunt this side of Wuthering Heights.

My Review: I wasn't going to read this to be fair because I freak out about ghost stories but it pulled me in these 3 authors are the best and I should really read more of their books. Well I loved the whole wuthering heights retelling and sorts and Jane is just wonderful. Charlotte is so brilliant and so headstrong! Loved this story and can't wait to read the next one!

But at the last moment, a spoiled Ironblood boy beats Ana to her prize. He has his own reasons for taking the coordinates, and he doesn’t care what he’ll sacrifice to keep them.

When everything goes wrong, she and the Ironblood end up as fugitives on the run. Now their entire kingdom is after them—and the coordinates—and not everyone wants them captured alive.

What they find in a lost corner of the universe will change all their lives—and unearth dangerous secrets. But when a darkness from Ana’s past returns, she must face an impossible choice: does she protect a kingdom that wants her dead or save the Metal boy she loves?

My Thoughts:
How could I not love this book... at times I totally yelled at what was happening in it but I loved it. I love this space/classics retellings that are being released and won't stop reading these. My the characters are so colorful. I don't even know who is my favorte in this story. Di, Anna, Robb, and Jax were just perfect even with their flaws they make a perfect team. Love it and can't wait to read more from Ashley Poston of course and everyone out there read this book... like now!

It's like Anastasia in Space with a twist of Firefly
