Stung

Title: Stung
Author: Bethany Wiggins
Rating: 5/5 and FAV.

Description:

A vaccine created in response changes children into ferocious, killer beasts. The uninfected have built a wall to keep the beasts out, & a girl has awakened on the wrong side.

My Review:
This a retelling of Sleeping Beauty will a bit of a sci-fi/end of the world feel. I loved that the whole book was full of action and story that didn't slow down at all and I can't wait to get book 2 Cured from the library. The characters I love them.

Delirium

Title: Delirium
Author: Lauren Oliver
Rating: 4/5

Description:
Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -the deliria- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the governments demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Haloway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.
But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable.
Lena Haloway has always thought the cure was good, but one encounter can change everything. She does the unthinkable and falls in love.

My review:
I was startled how much I loved the story of this book. Love is a disease in which this world is trying to get rid of and also free thinking. Portland turns into a prison where Lena wants to fly free from after finding out she was lying to. I have to check out the series on Hulu now after watching this.
