Soulless (Manga Trilogy)
Title: Soulless
Author: Gail Carriger
Rating: 4/5
Description: Alexia Tarabotti is laboring under a great many social tribulations. First, she has no soul. Second, she's a spinster whose father is both Italian and dead. Third, she was rudely attacked by a vampire, breaking all standards of social etiquette. Where to go from there? From bad to worse apparently, for Alexia accidentally kills the vampire -- and then the appalling Lord Maccon (loud, messy, gorgeous, and werewolf) is sent by Queen Victoria to investigate. With unexpected vampires appearing and expected vampires disappearing, everyone seems to believe Alexia responsible. Can she figure out what is actually happening to London's high society? Or will her soulless ability to negate supernatural powers prove useful or just plain embarrassing? Finally, who is the real enemy, and do they have treacle tart?
My Review: I really enjoyed this series... even with the nakedness in some parts tehe. The Steampunk is totally there and supernatural so guess what I got the first book of the novel series and will be reading it soon... so you can guess I loved the characters and story and the twists!

xxxHolic (completed)
Name: xxxHolic (volume 1-19)
Author: Clamp
Rating: 5/5
Description:
Watanuki Kimihiro is haunted by visions of ghosts and spirits. Seemingly by chance, he encounters a mysterious witch named Yuuko, who claims she can help. In desperation, he accepts, but realizes that he’s just been tricked into working for Yuuko in order to pay off the cost of her services. Soon he’s employed in her little shop—a job which turns out to be nothing like his previous work experience! Most of Yuuko’s customers live in Japan, but Yuuko and Watanuki are about to have some unusual visitors named Sakura and Syaoran from a land called Clow. . . .
XXXHolic volume one crosses over with Tsubasa volume one! Don’t miss it!
My Review: Even though I hate books (and movies) that deal with ghosts... its an iffy subject for me. I loved this manga series reading to the end- even though the ending could have been better... unless they hoping to maybe hopefully return to this series later. I love the characters and story so I hope so. Maybe it continues a bit in Tsubasa- which I'm going to be reading next :)
