Unfed

Title: Unfed
Author: Kirsty McKay
Rating:  3/5
REVIEWED FOR NETGALLEY

Description:
The good news: Bobby survived her Undead school trip... Bad news: her best mate, Smitty, is missing. Bobby knows she's got to find him even if it means risking it all and going out into the starving-zombie-infested wastelands again. Even if it means taking fellow survivors including a couple of old frenemies along for the ride. And even if the zombies are not the only ones who are chasing them this time.

My Review:
Alright so this book had twists don't get me wrong and Bobby was brave but the story bugged me because it was the same old same old. Just like the first one basically but the zoms were smarter and livestock was zoms too. Also this book left off in the cliffhanger basically so now I will have to read the next book thanks lol.

Undead

Title: Undead
Author: Kirsty McKay
Rating:  4/5

Description:
Out of sight, out of their minds: It's a school-trip splatter fest and completely not cool when the other kids in her class go all braindead on new girl Bobby. The day of the ski trip, when the bus comes to a stop at a roadside restaurant, everyone gets off and heads in for lunch. Everyone, that is, except Bobby, the new girl, who stays behind with rebel-without-a-clue Smitty. Then hours pass. Snow piles up. Sun goes down. Bobby and Smitty start to flirt. Start to stress. Till finally they see the other kids stumbling back. But they've changed. And not in a good way. Straight up, they're zombies. So the wheels on the bus better go round and round freakin' fast, because that's the only thing keeping Bobby and Smitty from becoming their classmates' next meal. It's kill or be killed in these hunger games, heads are gonna roll, and homework is most definitely gonna be late.

My Review:
I really liked the characters and story of this book, it wasn't too gross even tho its a zombie book and the humor was brilliant in areas. I enjoyed that it wasn't only about the zombies but also about the teens lives and what they were thinking. :) Good job. Now on to the second book!

Midnight Frost

Title: Midnight Frost
Author: Jennifer Estep
Rating: 5/5

Description:
Here we go again. . .
Just when it seems life at Mythos Academy can't get any more dangerous, the Reapers of Chaos manage to prove me wrong. It was just a typical night at the Library of Antiquities--until a Reaper tried to poison me. The good news is I'm still alive and kicking. The bad news is the Reaper poisoned someone else instead.
As Nike's Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I'm still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I've got to get my hands on the antidote fast--otherwise, an innocent person will die. But the only known cure is hidden in some creepy ruins--and the Reapers are sure to be waiting for me there . . .

My Review:
I was totally happy when I saw this sitting at the library for me. And still happy after reading it- that I can't wait to read the next one when its made. The story never bores me- Midnight frost was so much better than Spartan Frost. And so many things answered about Gwen's family. Loved it.

Glass House

Title: Glass House
Author: Rachel Caine
Rating:   4/5

Description:
Welcome to Morganville, Texas. Just don't stay out after dark. This is the first book in the Morganville Vampires series. Morganville is a small college town filled with quirky characters. But when the sun goes down, the bad comes out. Because in Morganville, there is an evil that lurks in the darkest shadows, one that will spill out into the bright light of day. College freshman Claire Danvers has had enough of her nightmarish dorm situation, where the popular girls never let her forget just where she ranks in the school's social scene: somewhere less than zero. When Claire heads off-campus, the imposing old house where she finds a room may not be much better. Her new roommates don't show many signs of life. But they'll have Claire's back when the town's deepest secrets come crawling out, hungry for fresh blood.

My Review:
I enjoyed this story, even with the main character being so young and in the college world it didn't dapper the story. I liked how she was book smart but not really street smart. So she got in trouble- so her character was more believable to me. I will be reading the next book probody next month. :)
