Destroy Me

Title: Destroy Me
Author: Tahereh Mafi
Rating: 4/5

Description:
Perfect for the fans of Shatter Me who are desperately awaiting the release of Unravel Me, this novella-length digital original will bridge the gap between these two novels from the perspective of the villain we all love to hate, Warner, the ruthless leader of Sector 45.
In Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me, Juliette escaped from The Reestablishment by seducing Warner—and then putting a bullet in his shoulder. But as she’ll learn in Destroy Me, Warner is not that easy to get rid of. . .
Back at the base and recovering from his near-fatal wound, Warner must do everything in his power to keep his soldiers in check and suppress any mention of a rebellion in the sector. Still as obsessed with Juliette as ever, his first priority is to find her, bring her back, and dispose of Adam and Kenji, the two traitors who helped her escape. But when Warner’s father, The Supreme Commander of The Reestablishment, arrives to correct his son’s mistakes, it’s clear that he has much different plans for Juliette. Plans Warner simply cannot allow.
Set after Shatter Me and before its forthcoming sequel, Unravel Me, Destroy Me is a novella told from the perspective of Warner, the ruthless leader of Sector 45

My Review:
This Novella made me like Warner more than I should. Also he is starts being kind and out of his character in this one... I guess being shot was a good thing :)

Anatomia (Y-Manga)

Title: Anatomia
Author: Tamaki Fuji
Rating 4/5

Description:
Luther has fallen in love with Eva. Luther is a young art student and Eva is his eccentric professor. Luther tries to convince Eva their connection is true love, unaware of the dark past that imprisons and tortures Eva’s soul. Is what forms between them love or merely intense infatuation? Anatomia is an intriguing spiritual love story about the healing powers of love and it’s ability to overcome hardship.

Translated by Kudou Usagi; Edited by Lokivsanubis; Lettered by Aska

My Review:
A really good story for a Yaoi Manga. Its about a boy who is abused by an artist and that creates problems for that boy. Not to mention a love that starts when the other boy sees the abused one from a window. :) Not saying anymore... TEHE!

Breath

Title: Breath
Author: Jackie Morse Kessler
Rating: 4/5

Description:

And he has finally decided that humanity is not worth the price he has paid time and again. When Death himself gives up on life, a teenager named Xander Atwood is the world's only hope. But Xander bears a secret, one that may bring about the end of everything. This heart-pounding final installment of the Riders of the Apocalypse series looks at the value of life, the strength of love, and how a small voice can change everything . . . forever.

My Review: This is my fav book out of this series. Its about a boy named Xander and his grip on reality. Is it real if you dont see it? The riders are awesome my fav is Pestilence aka Billy who was the main character in the last book (Loss). I wish this series would keep going but alas its over with the story about Death. :) I'm happy about this series- it ended good, the stories were good, the characters were good... No problem really here!

But Muirin’s act is a little too good, and Spirit begins to fear that her friend’s loyalties might have truly changed. Surrounded by enemies and friends who suddenly seem like strangers, Spirit has decide who can—and cannot—be trusted.

My Review:
I have read the first two, but this one was right down with the darkness. The Shadow Grail is about Merlin and Mordred's battle. Which hasn't ended yet, their knights and warriors are reborn and waiting for the battle where either good or evil will win. Spirit and her friends must figure out what Mordred and his followers want. I enjoy Mercedes writing and characters. They are always bright and beautiful with attitude and this book doesn't let me down at all. There are some sad times, some crazy times, and a bit of romance in the air. I will be hungryly waiting for book 4 to be written and released.

Abracadabra

Title: Abracadabra
Author: Ashley Ladd
Rating: 3/5

Description:
Savi Davis never believed in genies until she became one. When Savi finds a beautiful bottle, she wishes for the man she loves to be proven innocent and released from jail. To Savi’s shock, a genie fulfils her wish. Then all hell breaks loose...

My Review:
This is a short sexy romp about a woman in love with a man. The attraction between the two is unstoppable even for a mad man and a genie. Love conquers all in this story which took me about 30 mins to an hour to read. Wish this story was longer.

My first Claudia Gray book.
This book has pretty good characters tho the story plot dragged just a bit. It felt like a chore for me to read thru this book. I'll try again with another one of her books before disliking this actor :)

My Review:
This is a very interesting manga, for one thing why would someone use a phone card that magically appears at a phonebooth. I know I wouldn't trust it to use it. But I guess thats me. This is about the story of the end of Japan- possibly the world as they know if and a group of teenagers trying to stop it from happening. I'm going to continue to read this manga until the library doesn't have anymore volumes so yup!

The Others (The New Normal #3)

Title: The Others (The New Normal #3)
Author: Sara Michelle
Rating: 3/5

Description:
Just when I was about to lose it again, someone knocked on my door. My heart began beating faster and butterflies twirled in my stomach. It felt wrong. I hadn’t felt this nervous about seeing Ryan in months. He always made me feel just right. Why did I have to worry about him now? I coughed and tried to straighten my shirt. I sighed and walked over to open the door. When I did, it wasn’t exactly who I was hoping for, but it was good enough. It was Daniel.

My Review:
Its an ok book, just wish that the book was longer... maybe combine all these little ones into a big, complete story perhaps.

The world has ended in a horrible earthquake and the surrivors find a base finally with running water and food but that is running out. Tension is high and it pulls apart the main characters. Now in the next book Ryan leaves to look for food outside.
