If Im Found

Title: If I'm Found
Author: Terri Blackstock
Rating: 3/5

Reviewed the ARC

Description:
Casey Cox is still on the run, fleeing prosecution for a murder she didn’t commit. Dylan Roberts—her most relentless pursuer—is still on her trail, but his secret emails insist that he knows the truth and wants to help her. He’s let her escape before when he had her in his grasp, but trust doesn’t come easily.

Rest can be found at Goodreads

My Short Review: Alright the story and characters were great but I had trouble reading this one thru to the end. Besides being plagued with the flu all this month- which sucks by itself... and knowing this book is a Christian Fiction book, there was too much preaching for me at the end or should I say around chapter 47 or so. I'm not religious myself and found this book a bit more uncomfortable then the first book in this series... which I'm sorry but it turned me off of this book but I do want to find out if they get these dirty bastards or not in the end!

If I Run

Title: If I Run
Author: Terri Blackstock
Rating:  4/5

Description:
Casey knows the truth.

But it won’t set her free.

Casey Cox’s DNA is all over the crime scene. There’s no use talking to police; they have failed her abysmally before. She has to flee before she’s arrested . . . or worse. The truth doesn’t matter anymore.

But what is the truth? That’s the question haunting Dylan Roberts, the war-weary veteran hired to find Casey. PTSD has marked him damaged goods, but bringing Casey back can redeem him. Though the crime scene seems to tell the whole story, details of the murder aren’t adding up. Casey Cox doesn’t fit the profile of a killer. But are Dylan’s skewed perceptions keeping him from being objective? If she isn’t guilty, why did she run?

Unraveling her past and the evidence that condemns her will take more time than he has, but as Dylan’s damaged soul intersects with hers, he is faced with two choices. The girl who occupies his every thought is a psychopathic killer . . . or a selfless hero. And the truth could be the most deadly weapon yet.

From Goodreads.

My Short Review: Never reading her books before I think I found a new author to explore. Her reglious parts in the book isn't over powered and also characters are quite real. People you can find in the real world and no real sense of bible thumping at me saying you must believe in god too. Casey's story is quite scary in my eyes to be hunted for a crime you didn't do and also the people hunting you are suppose to be there to protect you. *shivers* Oh boy back to the book I go, so the story moved and I was never bored about it... just enough action- just enough mystery that kept me going even with this ADD mind here. At the moment reading the second book given to me by a lovely person. Thank you for that and the ARC will be reviewed as soon as I finish it... Getting sick didn't help- so I promise I will finish it! So I will leave ya with that and get back to the book!!! See ya!

Blood Red Rebellion

Title: Blood Red Rebellion
Author: Rosalyn Eves
Rating: 3/5
Netgalley Review

Description:
The thrilling first book in a YA fantasy trilogy for fans of Red Queen. In a world where social prestige derives from a trifecta of blood, money, and magic, one girl has the ability to break the spell that holds the social order in place.

Sixteen-year-old Anna Arden is barred from society by a defect of blood. Though her family is part of the Luminate, powerful users of magic, she is Barren, unable to perform the simplest spells. Anna would do anything to belong. But her fate takes another course when, after inadvertently breaking her sister’s debutante spell—an important chance for a highborn young woman to show her prowess with magic—Anna finds herself exiled to her family’s once powerful but now crumbling native Hungary.

Her life might well be over.

In Hungary, Anna discovers that nothing is quite as it seems. Not the people around her, from her aloof cousin NoΓ©mi to the fierce and handsome Romani GΓ‘bor. Not the society she’s known all her life, for discontent with the Luminate is sweeping the land. And not her lack of magic. Isolated from the only world she cares about, Anna still can’t seem to stop herself from breaking spells.

As rebellion spreads across the region, Anna’s unique ability becomes the catalyst everyone is seeking. In the company of nobles, revolutionaries, and Romanies, Anna must choose: deny her unique power and cling to the life she’s always wanted, or embrace her ability and change that world forever.

My Short Review:
This book made it really hard to like it and to get thru the story. I don't know how I feel about it I like a few concepts like the demons but that wasn't really part of the story too much and Hunger... he was pretty cool but everything else was just blah... hopefully the next one isn't as bad because of that ending I need to know!
