The Dark-Hunters: Infinity, Vol. 1

Title: The Dark-Hunters: Infinity, Vol. 1
Author: Sherrilyn Kenyon
Rating:  5/5

Description:
A manga adaptation of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Chronicles of Nick series, a prequel to the immensely popular Dark-Hunter novels. A young, streetwise Nick Gautier meets Dark-Hunter Kyrian of Thrace, who shows Nick a world of vampires, demons, and zombies far more dangerous than the mean streets of New Orleans. A must-read for existing fans and those new to the supernatural world of the Dark-Hunters!

My Review:
After reading this Manga version, it makes me want to reread the novel and continue the story. And maybe start the Dark Hunter actual series. :) Hopefully they will continue this Manga series too!

The Space Between (Disney Fairies)

Title: The Space Between (Disney Fairies)
Author: Kiki Thorpe
Rating:  4/5

Description:
The Disney Fairies star in a magical all-new early chapter book series for kids ages 6 to 10—The Never Girls! It's not fair! Just as they were settling in at Pixie Hollow, Kate, Mia, Lainey, and Gabby have to go home! Tinker Bell says no kids have ever come back to Never Land, but Lainey refuses to believe it. Will she never get to ride a deer through the woods again? And how can she learn the languages of animals without the fairies' help? But even when they leave Never Land, its magic seems to follow them! That mouse in Lainey's kitchen—she's sure it was one of the fairies' dairy mice! Is there some kind of a splinter between the worlds?

My Review:
This story was just as cute as the first. Just as the girls were bought back home a space in the fence opens up that is linked to neverland. Mia's cat gets loose in Neverland- 'playing' with the fairies and soon enough the girls are back in Neverland. Will the space cause more problems... are the girl's ever going to stay home.... who knows as this series continues. I'm liking this series... even tho with the huge print and the low reading level- I'll overlook it to read this!

Clockwork Angel (Graphic Novel)

A prequel to Cassandra Clare's Mortal Instruments series, The Infernal Devices is the story of Tessa Gray, a sixteen-year-old American girl traveling alone to Victorian London who runs afoul of the city's sordid supernatural underworld. Rescued by the Shadowhunters of the London Institute, Tessa quickly finds herself caught up in an intrigue that may very well destroy her new friends - including the two enigmatic young men, Jem and Will, who have taken her under their wing...

My Review:
By reading the Mortal Instruments series first I already love this world of the Shadowhunters. So this was a real treat for me. It also makes me want to read the novels next and will do... real soon. But for now this will have to be. I love the characters and plot. Lovely just Lovely.

But it’s not long before Temple realizes things aren’t as they seem and he can’t tell Bell. He knows it’s stop the culprit or something catastrophic will happen.

My Review:
This book had me at the first sentence. Its about a girl that doesn't fit in- doesn't want people to really notice her... but things lead her into signing up for president of her grade. And against a guy who she thinks hates her. At one point her best friend that just happens to be dead comes back. Freaks her the heck out. (that would be the ghost). Her friend is full of himself but is there for her at the worse of times. The rat is delievered to her doorstep and a warning. But things get even more strange thru the book. Now I wish that I can get my hands on the next one to review. I want to find out what happens in the cave. URGH :(  I think everyone should read this book.

The Inside

Tite: The Inside
Author: Sara Michelle
Rating: 2/5

Description:
(Ryan's Voice) This situation was way out of my control. I was willing to give up anything to go back to the way things were before … I tried my best to comfort and reassure Cecilia that somehow everything would be okay. But I really couldn’t be convincing when I could barely convince myself. We were walking into an unknown world. A world without leadership. No government. No medicine. No transportation. No food except what we could grow … or kill. It was going to be mass chaos.

My Review:
rushed, and anger is how I sum this book up. Ryan has alot of anger inside him and doesn't think of others unless its cecil. which is crazy if the world is ending. This is another book
where I question why its not packed with book 1 and 3. only
being 84 pages and font size 18 once again... But I guess when
the library gets book 3 I'll read it just the same! oh boy!

Grave Sight (comic)

Title: Grave Sight
Author: Charlaine Harris
Rathing: 4/5

Description:
Lightning-struck sleuth Harper Connelly and her stepbrother Tolliver are experts at getting in, getting paid, and then getting out of town fast — because the people who hire Harper have a funny habit of not really wanting to know what she has to tell them. At first, the little Ozarks town of Sarne seems like no exception. A teenage girl has gone missing, and Harper knows almost immediately that this girl is dead. But the secrets of her death — and the secrets of the town—are deep enough that even Harper’s special ability can’t uncover them. With hostility welling up all around them, she and Tolliver would like nothing better than to be on their way. But then another woman is murdered. And the killer’s not finished yet…

My Review:
This comic drew my attention from the beginning, I always planned to start this series in book form tho. And this will help me start it since it kept my attention on the story. The characters are colorful and storyplot followable even if it was a comic. Good job!
